X3 (MODERN)

The X3 is a seriously high-powered ceramic rail guitar pickup. With a fully wound-up 16K in the bridge and a well-balanced 12K in the neck, it offers exceptional power and balance. Thanks to its dual rail design, you can even use the neck pickup in the bridge position for a more articulate top end. Unlike many humbucker designs, the X3 delivers excellent results when coil splitting. The 4-conductor wiring facilitates easy coil-splitting or series/parallel switching.

Alan Entwistle guitar pickups are supplied unboxed and with mounting screws and springs (where model-appropriate). Most of our humbucking guitar pickups are wired with the ability to be coil-split so a wiring diagram is available on our website that shows how to wire for 'standard non-split', 'simple split', 'partial phasing' and 'series/parallel' configurations.
