The 'REZO 64' single-coil pickup has been developed with one goal in mind.......to get as close to the mystical 'Marvin Tone' of the 60s as we could, harking back to when the legend that is Hank Marvin used Burns guitars and had a very distinct tonal characteristic usually described as more 'nasal' and 'warmer' than most. We don't claim that our pickups will automatically make you sound like 1964-1969 Hank Marvin but we do think we have gotten pretty close to this as a basis for Shadows fans to build their tone from.

REZO 64 PICKUPS ARE CURRENTLY ONLY AVAILABLE AS A FULL SET (NECK / MIDDLE / BRIDGE).

The 'REZO 64' is intended to be a direct replacement for the re-issued Rez-O-Matik pickups of the last 20 years (using 47mm and 51mm bobbins) which Alan feels, while being very good, didn't quite achieve this particular tone.

PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASE:

The REZO 64 pickups have slightly unusual pole spacings (Neck 47mm, Middle/Bridge 51mm) to match the previous Rez-O-Matik pickups sizing and DO NOT COME WITH COVERS. Please measure your current pole spacing to ensure a good match with your current covers as the REZO 64 are intended for use with your current covers. Supplied mounting screws are of the modern 'countersunk' variety and not vintage-specific. 

Even if pole spacings are correct, your current covers may still require minor modification (slight enlarging of holes) in order to fit the REZO 64 pickups.

We reserve the right not to refund should your covers not fit the pickups, so please check. Contact us if you have any questions regarding the sizing.

Alan Entwistle guitar pickups are supplied unboxed, with mounting screws and springs (where model-appropriate) and a wiring diagram showing a typical wiring configuration. 

We recommend that an experienced guitar technician installs your guitar pickups.
